How do whirlybirds work?

Edmonds Windmaster is an economical natural wind driven ventilator designed to exhaust heat and damp from the roof space of a home without the use of electrical energy. Constructed from light-weight aluminium, it has a classic design and comes with a 15 year warranty for long lasting comfort in your home. Available in huge range of colours to match most roof colours. Passes AS/NZS 4740 and is manufactured in Australia.
Our team will assist in selecting the correct insulation material, size and R value for your home. Once the correct insulation has been identified, we will provide a quote based on the square meterage of insulation coverage required, R value selected and section of the home that the insulation is to be installed.
Edmonds – SupaVent
Edmonds SupaVent is an economical natural wind driven ventilator designed to exhaust heat & damp from the roof space of a home without the use of electrical energy. The SupaVent has been designed to perform in light breezes, which means the heat in your roof space will be exhausted even on relatively still hot summer days. Unlike traditional metal roof vents, SupaVents are constructed from a durable UV stabilised polymer with stainless steel ball bearings, which means they are suitable for coastal areas as they won’t rust or corrode.
SupaVents come with a 15 year warranty.
How many whirlybirds will I need?
Generally one whirly bird per 60-80m2 of roof space, this can also come down to your roof type, structure etc. Our team will provide you with recommendations once we have some further details from you.
